Who Is Autumn Noel? How the Vertical Drama Star Found Her Place in Acting

Before landing lead roles and gaining a growing fanbase, the 24-year-old vertical drama star admitted she faced moments of uncertainty early in her career.

Autumn Noel is quickly becoming a rising name in the world of vertical dramas and romance mini-series. From her early days exploring her skills in entertainment and the arts to landing lead roles in popular short-format projects, she has carved a unique path in the entertainment industry.

With a growing fanbase, Noel is not just acting; she’s capturing attention for her versatility, dedication, and approach to storytelling in this fast-paced format.

How Autumn Noel Discovered Her Love for Acting

Noel was born on December 19, 2000, in a small town in Florida. She spent her early years moving through seven different states before settling in Colorado at the age of 13.

During her childhood, she explored photography and dance, but it was acting that captured her heart. Raised largely by her grandmother, she often found comfort in classic movies and imagined herself performing on screen.

Reflecting on her passion, she said in a May 2025 Medium interview, “there [sic] was something with acting though that just moved me… It’s beautiful. I knew there was nothing I wanted to do more.”

At 17, Noel convinced her family to allow her to trade dance classes for acting lessons. She then trained under various acting coaches, developing the skills that would help her succeed professionally.

By age 19, she moved to Los Angeles with little money and no family nearby. Within just five months, she landed her first feature film on Lifetime, marking the start of her career in Hollywood.

As Autumn’s career has grown, so has her social media following. She now has 303,000 followers on Instagram and 147,300 on TikTok, connecting with fans who admire her work and personal journey.

Autumn Noel’s Rise in the World of Vertical Dramas

Noel entered the vertical drama scene in 2023, during a period when many actors faced slowdowns due to industry strikes. Her agent sent her an audition for a project called “Fated to My Forbidden Alpha” on the Reelshort app.

Initially, Noel was unsure about the material. “When I got the sides I was stunned because it had words like Alpha and Luna. I had never auditioned for anything with that kind of material before honestly. My self tape coach who helped me through it Brad was just as confused as I was. I did the audition anyways even though I almost didn’t send it,” she recalled.

Despite the confusion she felt at the time, she ultimately landed the role of Selene Lovette. That role opened doors to numerous other vertical drama projects.

From 2019 to 2025, Noel has mostly appeared in TV mini-series and romance or drama projects, often in lead or important supporting roles.

Some of her notable works include “Carrying His Triplets,” “Becoming His Wifey” as Daisy, “Secret Surrogate to the Mafia King” as Vanessa Peters, and “Pregnant and Spoiled by a Billionaire Baby Daddy” as Amelia.

Other significant projects include “Hillbilly Girl Marries a Billionaire” as Emily Davis, “Boss Me Around If You Dare” as Olivia Hall, and “His One and Only Love” as Lyla. Her earlier work features shorts and smaller TV roles, such as “Don’t Sleep,” “Don’t Look in the Mirror,” and “Eternity at Play.”

Reflecting on her work in this new form of entertainment, Noel emphasized the effort that goes into creating stories. “I know they seem easy but it takes so much skill and effort on everyone’s part to make these come to life,” she explained.

Autumn also credits intimacy coordinator Olivia Ku for creating a safe environment on set, acknowledging the essential behind-the-scenes roles in bringing these stories to life. She said Ku was one of the first she ever worked with and has remained “one of the best” for her.
